Focal is a mobile app designed for film photographers to digitally manage and document their film shooting process. Users can log each active film roll as a dedicated album, where they store detailed notes, exposure settings, and attach live reference photos to specific exposure counts—helping them remember each shot’s context, since film images aren’t instantly viewable. The app also features a built-in light meter that uses the phone’s camera to measure and record aperture, shutter speed, and ISO/ASA settings, allowing photographers to capture and save these details alongside their notes for easy reference during and after shooting.
